New site!

27 Nov 2022 - I was testing software for building static web sites and it got a bit out of hand, so here we now have a spruced-up version of Mr Blint's Attic. It's come a long way since its origins on Geocities. But not that far.

The content is pretty much identical, the main new thing is that I finally transcribed the Melody Maker reviews and interview, which I'd not really paid enough attention to. It poses more questions than it answers, but a couple of nuggets stuck out. 

One was the claim that they had enough out-takes of Peter Cook to put out another Derek and Clive-type album. I don't especially want to hear that, but it got me wondering if any of the tapes from The Manor sessions survive.

The other was that, aside from the Gizmo, "there is also another project in hand, which would involve another invention, nothing to do with music, and taking up three years of their time."

What was that invention!?

This website was originally created in 1997, and it shows its age in places. Behold Real Audio files! Tiny images! I hope to chip away at improving the editing, writing and upload images that are a bit bigger - most of the pictures were uploaded when computer screens were much smaller and most people were still on dial-up internet.
